During the unprecedented challenges of the pandemic, we stood by businesses across the country, guiding them through complex government subsidy applications.
By securing millions in essential funding, we helped hundreds of companies stay resilient amid economic turmoil. Despite the year’s challenges, we once again made The Globe and Mail’s Fastest Growing Companies list.
Strengthening Specialization
2021 saw us double down on specialization. We strengthened the departments for every key function - accounting, bookkeeping, onboarding, payroll, accounts payable - each with its own leadership and processes to enhance our capabilities.
This focus on specialized teams deepened our expertise and improved client experiences. We also continued our streak on The Globe and Mail’s Fastest Growing Companies list for yet another year.

A Milestone Moment
2022 was a milestone year for our team. Our 100th employee came on board, marking a major growth achievement for ConnectCPA! We had expanded from a small founding crew in 2014 to a 100-strong organization in just eight years.
And true to form, we earned a spot on the Top Growing Companies list once again, keeping our momentum going strong.
Expanding Services & Automation
In 2023, our excellence was recognized once more as we won Xero Accounting Partner of the Year.
We also continued to raise the bar with new services and tech innovations. We launched our Controllership Services, providing enhanced financial guidance, and implemented Robotic Process Automation (RPA) to streamline bookkeeping.
We made The Globe and Mail’s Top Growing Companies list for the 4th consecutive year.
We also hosted our first Philippines team retreat, reinforcing our global team culture.

Growth & Leadership Evolution
Our commitment to excellence earned us Xero Accounting Partner of the Year for the third time, which reaffirmed our status as industry leaders!
We also broadened our voice by launching the GrowthTales podcast to share lessons from the incredible entrepreneurs we’ve worked alongside.
On top of that, we continued to expand our offerings by adding more specialized departments to better serve our growing client base, ensuring we keep elevating our service as we grow.
