Jamie Shulman has a rich career background, combining law, tech, and business leadership. Jamie co-founded J&J LIDS in 1990 and later practiced law at Torys LLP and Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati. He served as Assistant General Counsel at Inovis, helping manage a $116 million merger, and later became VP of Digital at Indigo Books and Music. In 2007, Jamie co-founded Sparkroom, an online marketing company acquired by Nelnet. Jamie went on to co-found Hubdoc, a financial document management platform and currently leads as Head of Accounting at A2X. He holds a Bachelor’s in International Relations from Brown, a JD from the University of Toronto, and an MBA from Rotman School of Management.
Jamie McDonald has an extensive background in tech and business leadership. Starting as a Product Manager at Microsoft, Jamie moved to Expedia as VP of Destination Services, enhancing customer acquisition and in-destination services. In 2006, Jamie founded Sparkroom, a SaaS platform for lead generation in education. Later, he co-founded Hubdoc, an automated document management solution for accountants, leading it from 2011 to 2020. Jamie then joined Xero as Executive GM of Product, overseeing global services, and now serves as CEO of A2X, an e-commerce accounting automation firm. Jamie holds a BA in Economics from Duke and an MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurship from Northwestern’s Kellogg School.
